I created Pinnacle Consulting & Advisors because I saw a need for the small to medium-sized business or startups to get some of the guidance and use some of the resources the big companies have at their disposal.

A little more about me: I have been a leader in Corporate Compliance, Regulatory, and Ethics Investigations for a Fortune 500 Company, as well as over 27 years of Law Enforcement. 

I have extensive experience in leadership and investigations in compliance, suitability, risk, regulatory, and ethics, as well as AML, KYC, fraud, human resources, and highly sensitive investigations.  I have over 21 years of investigative experience with corporate, local, state, federal, and international investigations. 

I worked with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and an International Task Force in Baltimore, Maryland and Washington D.C. Throughout my career I have been a dedicated professional, able to resolve conflicts and remain focused under extreme stress. I have a solid reputation for a strong work ethic and uncompromising devotion to service.

I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1991 in Public Relations with coursework and experience in business management, marketing, statistics, accounting, computer hardware, and criminology.  I have been a certified computer forensic examiner in EnCase, FTK, and other forensic tools.

Matthew Bergamo

Senior Manager Audit and Controls

I joined Pinnacle Consulting & Advisors because I saw the opportunity to join a team that had the same goals I did - to join a team that was committed to helping the business owners of Las Vegas achieve what they didn't know was possible: sustained growth, security, and financial success.  
A little more about me: I have led audit, investigations, and consulting teams in Fortune 500 settings, achieving operational, regulatory, legal, financial, and security goals. I also have extensive experience working with the federal government assessing the security and safeguard programs of military installations. 
In addition to the above, I have also obtained a Masters degree in Business Management from California State University Northridge. I have been trained in Interview and Interrogation Techniques by Wicklander-Zulawski, and I am a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Richard Forbus

Senior Manager Governmental Affairs

Richard Forbus brings real-world experience and training for our clients from over 25-year in law enforcement and from United States Marine Corps veteran including extensive Federal, State, and Local experience in managing governmental programs. 

 

Richard's experience in security, public safety, personnel  management, project management, internal audits, department accreditation processes, training, policy writing and development and senior level budgeting and staffing assessments and management.

Richard retired from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in 2021 as a Captain and a Deputy Chief and played integral roles in successfully managing and responding to public safety needs as well as aligning the department with multiple jurisdictions and involving both public and private sectors.

Paul Wong

Owner & Co-Founder of Pinnacle Consulting & Advisors

Paul Wong is a Las Vegas native who has spent over 25 years being a highly experienced risk-assessor for large corporate entities.  He is a licensed Third Party Administrator in the State of Nevada and has decades of proven success working with companies to implement necessary safety protocols, workers' compensation programs, mediation, unemployment representation and OSHA representation.  

Paul has spent years designing, assessing, managing and implementing Health, Safety and Environmental polices to meet the ever changing needs of clients.

Paul's forward-thinking problem solving techniques have saved companies large amounts of money by identification of defective procedures and designs of more efficient and easy to manage systems in transportation services, construction, food services and other Nevada businesses.
